HOLIDAY PHOTOS 2023
“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything! Michael J. Fox
Who do you call family? To most people family is considered blood relatives (whether you like them or not). It’s your kids, your siblings, your parents, your in-laws and the list goes on.
To others family is the people you’re closest to, can count on day or night…it doesn’t have to be blood. Whichever category you fall into, family is there for you.
As we head into the Christmas holiday season, and having just celebrated Thanksgiving, I was thinking about how important it is to have special memories with your family. We just celebrated my father-in-law’s 90th birthday and somehow managed to get all 25 immediate family members together to the party. That was quite a feat. Needless to say…I couldn’t let anyone go without a family portrait. I only have the photo with the grandchildren for now since the portrait squishing 25 people into my tiny studio requires some serious retouching in Photoshop! But at least we have a beautiful memory and eventually a gorgeous portrait for my father-in-law’s wall.

As we start to put our thoughts ahead to the holidays, we can’t get our heads around the fact it’s been a year already!! Let the fun begin.
If you send out holiday cards, you might be starting to hunt around for Christmas mini sessions. I have photographed Christmas themed mini sessions for years so for a change I’m taking a different approach this year. I will be offering classic and timeless family portraits. No red or green, no Christmas trees or Santas. Just beautiful portraits of your family.

You can never go wrong with this classic portrait. The beauty of it is, you can frame photos and gift them to friends and family. You can give the gift of memories. These are priceless and the value lasts forever.
